It's one of the few names I like a lot despite its extreme popularity. Usually, if a name is in the top 100 (in the U.S.), I'm immediately turned off to it. :b But I love Olivia, and its classic, old-fashioned feel. Liv and Livvie are adorable nn's, too. But if you have a common ln, or popularity bothers you, then it's probably not a good. I might use it as a mn someday, though. :)

I never used to like this name very much, but over the last 5-6 years I guess it would be, it's been growing on me. I love it now. I would say that pairing a popular fn and ln together might not be the best idea. Maybe you could use Olivia as the mn instead.

I like Olivia only as a middle name... but to each his own..

Olivia is a very pretty name but there are way too many little girls being named this. I would look for something similar but less common (i.e. Lydia). If you don't mind the popularity issue, I would go ahead and use it. Just be prepared for her to have other classmates with her name.

I love Olivia and Livia. Livvie is weird to me, but Livie is ok.

This name has really been growing on me. I'm closed to loving it, I think. If I had a very common last name (which I actually don't) I probably would think twice about using a popular first name, but if I really really loved it, I'd go with it anyway.

I'm the opposite of PP... I love the NN, hate the name. It has just become far too popular. Livvie/y however, I adore, and wish that it was a suitable name for a little girl that will one day be a grown woman. But alas...

I love it. I don't like the nn though.
