Someone backed into our parked car while the kids and I were grocery shopping yesterday afternoon. The right tail light is broken, and the bumper will need to be replaced. Naturally, they took off without leaving a note and there are no witnesses. The worst thing is that Rafe and I are fighting about it. I'm hurt that he acts as if I'm partially to blame for choosing that parking spot. He has never shopped alone with a 5-year-old, a 3-year-old, and a newborn. I'm not going to be like him, circling the lot before settling for a spot at the extreme outer edge with no other cars in a fifty-foot radius. The closer the better, in my opinion.
