Lilias is very pretty, and I think it'd be perfectly nice for a girl of any age.

Lilias Mara is fine, but I wish I could sell you on Lilias Mary. That's a combo that couldn't possibly be improved upon, in my mind. It just brings to mind all the best aspects of the romanticized image of Scotland, for me--the lovely highland lass in a field of heather, auburn hair and all. But I'm a hopelessly romantic American, so what can one expect? ;)

lol, I love the American impression of Scotland. I kind of know what you mean, but I'm not sure I can get over my objections to Mary, sorry.
Lilias Maren is very nice and you made me think of another name I like Muireann.
hmm Lilias Muireann might be a bit too much though...

I understand--similarly, all the pleading in the world will never make me like the name Anna. ;)

Lilias Muireann is very pretty, honestly. And since Lilias' pronunciation is fairly intuitive, I think you could get away with Muireann.
