I like Lancelot, but others would find it too fantastical so I wouldn't use it. Lance is a great fall back name though, so if someone really wanted to use it I wouldn't try to persuade them elsewhere.

I like the sound, and I definitely like that his parents had the guts to pick a name that unusual. Lancelot the myth character isn't exactly the best of namesakes though - serial adulterer with his best friend's wife?

Still an awesome name as names go. I'd definitely rather be/meet a Lancelot than yet another Caden/Jaden/Ayden/etc.

That's really cool! Now I won't feel silly if I name my son Lancelot! It's been a fave for a while, but Caspian Lancelot is too much. Charles Lancelot sounds good though!

I went to school with a Lancelot, he hated his name (with his lastname though, it was a bit of a joke). He used to insist everyone call him Lance.

I admire the parents courage, but I just think of an adulterer and also war and violence - same with Lance. Maybe I'm too historical and unromantic lol.

Oh, it's one of my absolute favorites! Unfortunately, I moved it to GP because lots of people said it was a bit too much. But now that I know there actually is someone named Lancelot, I think I'll go add it to my PNL again! Woo!
