I'm completely in love with Matilda, mainly caused by the Roald Dahl book of the same name; one of my daughters WILL have this name.
My top combo is Matilda Claire, but I also like Matilda Abigail. Matilda Sinead could be cool, and it would also honour a Jane.
My fave nn for Matilda is Tilda, mainly because Mat would become Mattie and end up sounding like Maddie, making sure she fitted in with all the Madisons and Madelines.
