I pronounce it with a long a like Kayla or Kay: AY-la.
It's pretty enough, but it feels made up. There are so many names that fit the same trendy pattern, like Kayla, Jayla, and Tayla, and even more that fit a larger trend of sticking a short first syllable on the -lyn, -lee, or -la sound and calling it a name. They're all boring at this point.
I also associate it with the Clan of the Cave Bear novels which doesn't do the name any favors, imo.
