Season greetings from the Mitchell family!
Our house has been filled with energy these past few weeks. We're all very excited for christmas. This year our whole family is gathering at our house for christmas dinner. We have lots to do before they all get here! But here's a little update on each member of the family just for you. Jack has had alot of success in this past year. He was just made a partner at the law firm he works at. We're all very proud of him. This summer, he thought Leo to fish. They know go fishing every weekend they can. They also plan to try ice fishing in the new year. Riley is also doing great. She is still a stay-at-home-mom but has taken on a very big project. She is making little teddy bears and small games for sick children in a near-by hospital. All the children love helping her out. Once a month, she and the children bring the toys and bears to the hospital. Leo is now in grade 3. He's doing very well in school and is playing on the grade 3 and 4 basket-ball team. He also plays on a soccer team in the summer. He is very much like his dad and loves to go fishing with him. He's also very protective of his little sisters. He hope to be a lawyer one day, just like his dad. Asher is now in grade 1. He's also doing very well in school, but has some difficulties with reading. We like to spend a few hours a day reading with him hoping this will help, even Leo has started to read with him. Asher loves to play soccer in the summer and hopes that next year his dad will teach him how to fish also. Emma is now in senior kindergarden and has started to love school. She loves going because she gets to see her friends every day. She's made lots of new friends at school and around our neighbourhood. Her favorite thing to do is to go swing on the 'big-kid' swings at the park with her best friend Tyla. Nora & Ava are growing up so fast! They are now 3 years old and even though they look very much alike are showing us they are completely different people. Nora is alot like her dad and makes a little big of a tomboy. She likes to play with Asher and Leo while Ava would much rather play with Emma. They also like different colours and different toys. They are very excited for school, every day when Emma comes home they make her tell them all about it. Grace is the newest addition to our family. She was born July 3rd at 6:40pm, weighing 7 pounds 4 ounces. She is a very happy baby and rarely cries. This will be her first christmas and a very hectic one indeed.

Random Event: Baby gets sick and must stay in the hospital for a long time. Does the baby make it? What happend?
