Help[Opinions] Alison does not have "son" (m)

Alison is Alice + on, not Ali + son. It's very old and while it's occasionally used on boys, it's not a boy's name. I like it but don't love it. It's a little modern for me, but a nice name.
Alison Daphne, Alison Juliet, and Alison Violet are gorgeous! I love Junia, Indira and Simone but not with Alison.

for some reason in my mind I had lumped it together with Courtney and a few others that were formerly mainly masculine names. Oops.
