Since it's long I'll just post what I think of these names for now.
GIRLS
Haven- Have been starting to like it.
Ireland - nms unless it has a special meaning to the parents (like your example) , but prefer it as a mn.
Berlin - Same as Ireland, and also prefer it pronounced the German way (Bear-leen).
Gretchen - Like it, I knew a really nice old lady with this name, but I think it could work well on a little girl too.
Rainflower [MN only] - nms but it could go well with a lot of short fns.
Harriet - Love.
Jasmine - Bad association, but nice.
Lakota - Only if you have ties to the tribe and even then it's not really my style, but I like how it sounds.
Cecelia - Also love this name.
BOYS
Arcadian - Like it, but wouldn't use it myself.
Mackenzie - It's ok (and only on a boy IMO).
