30 minutes and a bad case of curiosity/procrastination...I pasted all of the top ten list in the ranking thread into Excel and alphabetised the list, to find the most popular. The winner? Edmund. Ten people had Edmund in their list, which beats the next nearest-John- by 3. Weird. The other oddity? Ophelia, which made 6 lists.

Fun. I think Edmund is classic, but less familiar than Edward... so maybe why it is so popular.

Edmund - This is my favorite "Ed" name. I dislike Edward and Edwin.

John - This is okay. I have two uncles named John and a cousin named Jonathan so I could never use it.

Eleanor - Very pretty, though I prefer Elenora.
Gideon - Used to be on my top 10 list. It could end up on it again.
Henry - Dislike it
Katherine - I like it spelled Katharine.
Oliver - Great name.
Ophelia - One of my favorites. Love it!

William - My dad's name. I like it.
