I love the way it's spelled and I have to keep the "W" in mind when I say it out loud -- otherwise I'll think of the cartoon "Ren & Stimpy". Half of me thinks of a girl with black hair and stunning blue eyes; another half can't get that disgusting (though very entertaining) cartoon out of my head. I do like the name.

Wren Laura is ok; I like Wren Lauren a little bit more. Though the name Madison isn't too popular on this board (though popular everywhere else lol) I do like Wren Madison.

I love the association and the look, but the sound is really not all that attractive to me. I like it as a middle name, though.

I stole this from Chrisell, but I looooove Kerensa "Wren".

I never liked the name Wren. It's like naming your child Sparrow or Finch. It just doesn't sound like a person's name to me.

I really don't like Wren - it makes me think of the underside of birds, with twiggy little scratchy claws and grey feathers. Also it's one of those words that stops making sense for me if I look at it for too long. And it reminds me of Ren and Stimpy.

Um. No combo suggestions atm, sorry. Laura's one of my favorite names, but they seem kind of just stuck together. Laura Wren has a nicer flow, but I know you want Wren as a first name, so.

I love it. It's a family surname for me, so I've actually considered using it, either as a name in its own right, or as a nn for Renata. It's refreshingly simple and the mental image of a tiny bird is very sweet.

It is a bit of a GP for me lately; it is so soft and sweet and simple sounding, but I think it has some spunk as well. I'm not a huge fan of Laura, though the combo flows well enough. Wren Eloise and Wren Daphne from the other posts are really nice! Some other possibilities:

Wren Frances (my favorite, I think), Wren Theresa, Wren Bernadette, Wren Malina, or Wren Isabel

I love Wren, but Laura doesn't really go with it... I think it needs something longer.

I like the name Wren. I like the combo Wren Eloise. I just like those names together for some unknown reason. I guess its the way they sound together. I love the name Laura. But I don't really care for it in a combo with Wren.

I love Wren for a girl, but a MN. I dislike Wren Laura.
