[Opinions] Re: Barnaby?
in reply to a message by RubySapphire
Hi, welcome to the boards. Just to let you know, there is a link to the rules posted at the top of the page. It would be a good idea to check those out. Please try cosolidating your posts a little rather than starting four new threads in such a short span. It pushes other posts farther down the board prematurely, and there is nothing wrong with asking multiple questions in one post. It would be understandable to separate your sisters names from your general WDYT, but this could have easily been combined with that one, even with a distinction that it is for someone else and not you.
To answer your original question: I actually really like Barnaby, though I'd probably use it as a MN. John Barnaby is strikingly handsome to me as a combo. It is one of those names that is masculine and spunky and cute but will age well all at once, I think.

No need to be haughty with the "ha". According to your profile, you registered today, so therefore, you are new. Since you did not kindly introduce yourself as a returning user, one can assume that today is your first day. A search of this username reveals posts only from today, and you have not stated that you are a poster formerly known under a different name. If you are not new, as you claim, you would know that coming back and not revealing a former posting identity is considered somewhat deceptive and not looked upon warmly. Also, a returning user would already know those rules. Either way, no need for the snarkiness.
Someone who "knows what to do" would also know that we appreciate an attempt at spacing, punctuation and proper sentence structure around here. But you're not new, so why am I telling you what you already apparently know . . .
