I think they sound fine together, though I prefer Leslie on a boy.
My mother named me after an actress (mostly cause it was the first thing to come to mind, she didn't have a girl named planned). I found it to lack any meaning, so I now use a form of my middle name (it was Elizabeth, I go by the original Elisheva)
If these people are important to you, and you wish the child to emulate them, then it can work well, but being named after someone famous has its own problems which is why I try to avoid it.
