I have ancestors named Devereux, as well. They're from the 16th century. I wonder if they are the same ones?

It's quite likely.

My computer, the one with my family tree file, is in the shop right now, but my Devereux's are in with a whole mass of Edwardian English nobility that I was quite excited to find. Are yours similar?
