Anael - It's way too similar to a word ... Anyone can guess what word.
Amram - Too obviously contains the word "ram". I can imagine the jokes.

Absalom, because of who is belonged to in the Bible,
Amos, because it's slightly reminiscent of Famous Amos cookies, and
Ahab, because of who it belonged to, and besides that, it just sounds bad.
