I think it's rather cool for a boy, and I can tolerate it on a girl. But I do have a friend (female) by this name, so it doesn't seem terribly odd to me. So I don't automatically think of the Blair Witch or Tony Blair, but moreso I think of the snotty character from "Facts of Life" in the 1980s. I disliked it for years for that reason, but then I met a 'real' person with that name and it grew on me. I think there was a guy on Real World or Road Rules (on MTV) named Blair as well, which made me like it a little more for a boy (didn't hurt that he was cute :b).

But only for a boy. I have met two in my life, a girl I went to school with who really was an evil witch. The second was a boy that was a camper at the camp I used to work at. I hated the name until I met him, and ever since, loved the name for a boy.

It is extremely ugly to me, and even more on a girl.
It reminds me of Blair Witch Project, not to mention it means "ugly nose" in French...

I dislike it for bothe genders. It reminds me way too much of Tony Blair.

If I have to choose, I'd say boy's name...better than it being a girl's name. But, see title.

I've only ever known this as a boys' name. I wouldn't use it at all but if I did I probably wouldn't use it on a girl (not in New Zealand anyway).

I like this name, I think it has a nice sound to it. I would only use it on a girl, I really can't picture it on a boy.

I love the name Blair on a girl. I think that it is one of the best middle names for a girl. It is okay on a boy, but it is a little girly.

I think Blair is a cute name for a boy or a girl. I prefer it on a girl though. I've never met anyone named Blair.

I have it as the name of a female character in one of my stories. I like it, but wouldn't use it (even if I wasn't using it on a character)
