Where you live: We have a spacious 4 bedroom ranch-style home in suburban North Carolina.
Tell us a little about your family: We enjoy doing things together; Every chance we get we're out in the local park having a picnic, taking a trip to the river to go boating, going to the zoo, etc. I love being able to stay home with Shana (and Rory when she's not in school), and some of our favorite things to do are fingerpainting and putting on plays. When we adopted Shana she was a newborn and doctors thought she may be blind ... later they discovered she was not blind but did need surgery to correct an eye problem; now her vision is great!

Katarine Rita "Kat" is a 10 year old girl from Germany. Her mother died when she was 4 and no one knows who her father is. Kat loves to read and wants to be an author when she growns up. She also loves animals and has "adopted" a stray cat that always came around the orphanage, his name is Tillo. Kat has brown hair and blue eyes.
Nicolas Felicien and Nadine Genevieve are 2 year old twins from France. Their parents were very abusive and they were taken out of their home a year ago. Nicolas has recovered wonderfully and loves to be around people, but Nadine is very shy and does not warm up to people easily. Both of the children love to play with their toys and coloring is one of their favorite activities. Nicolas has brown hair and green eyes and Nadine has brown hair and brown eyes.
