Damian is a great name and I would use it in a heart beat. It has absolutely no religious connections at all...the whole "devil" connection began with "The Omen".
For Demon, if you're going for the DAY-mon pronnciation, why not spell it Damon since with the first spelling the first obvious pronunciation (for me at least) would be DE-mon.
I think Lucifer sounds like a really cool name and has a beautiful meaning. It truely is a shame that most people immediately associate it with the devil. Even though I'm not religious I'd know that naming my child Lucifer would just be asking for trouble from people who ARE regligious and are offended by the name. Lucius is similar and is another name I love. Luc makes a great nn.
