Help[Games] Rachel Shay's Congrats Round 3
You held off an extra year before having another child (or two… or three…), so you could take care of your current kids (this is especially helpful for those who had twins, and the one who had triplets, I’m sure. What a handful). Anyway, now that your eldest is starting school, you had a bit of extra time, and yup, along came another baby (or two, or three…)

Daniel seemed reluctant to go to school at the onset, but we managed to get him onto the bus. He has already made a few friends, but somehow managed to PO his teacher on the first day. Sebs was not happy to be called into the school so soon after shoving the Daniel onto the bus, to say the least.
Eoin had more trouble adjusting than Daniel did. He followed Sebs around all morning, until Sebs finally just locked the door to his office (he's an architect working from home) and sent Eoin to his Grandma's.
For once, Winter discovered the pregnancy before Sebs, so she finally got to surprise him with it. He was even more surprised to hear it was twins. Daniel now realizes the baby didn't come out of a special egg his mommy ate (it came from that big bird on the pickle jar), but he revelled in telling Eoin all about it and warning him to be careful while eating eggs. Eoin has stubbornly refused to eat anything with eggs in it since that day, to Daniel's joy.

Misty was excited to be going to school, in her own, quiet way. She'd always been a bright girl, and she was looking forward to going somewhere where she could learn more. Despite her shyness, she made a friend - a little girl named Ruby.
The twins were absolutely delighted when they discovered that they were going to have a little sister and wouldn't be the babies anymore. However, they turned out to be a bit jealous when Ave came and most of Maya's attention was focused on the baby. Zoe was especially annoyed, being a bit of a drama queen even at her young age. Phoenix eventually brought the girls around by spending time with them (taking them out for ice cream, playing games, etc) whenever Maya was busy with the baby. Feeling a little more noticed, the twins stopped resenting their new sister so much and fell in love with her.

Eliza had a great first day at school! She was very excited and had been telling Madeleine and Felix all about how she was going to be a big girl. As we left she started to get a little worried but as soon as she met her teacher she was fine again!
As for the twins, they are little bundles of energy. The three of them generally get on fine, except when Eliza and Madeleine decide that they want to play something different from what the other wants to; they're both extremely stubborn! Poor Felix is just getting to the age where he is realising that he is surrounded by girls, and his first question when we told him we were expecting again was "Can I have a boy?" Needless to say, he was a little disappointed when Charlotte and Amelia arrived.

Jesse has started school! He was so excited and honestly couldn't wait to go. He can already read, because he kept begging me to teach him. His two new bestfriends, Aiden and Patrick, come over what seems like every day.
We also have had triplets! I can tell you, triplets after twins are a handful, but Ciara and Niamh Jade are so supportive and love to play with their baby sisters as if they were dolls. Our two identical girls, Thalia and Sophia, and our first boy since Jesse, Milo, are wonderful.
People often look at us now when we go walking and ask if they are all ours. We are able to proudly say Yes.

Jesse has started school! He was so excited and honestly couldn't wait to go. He can already read, because he kept begging me to teach him. His two new bestfriends, Aiden and Patrick, come over what seems like every day.
We also have had triplets! I can tell you, triplets after twins are a handful, but Ciara and Niamh Jade are so supportive and love to play with their baby sisters as if they were dolls. Our two identical girls, Thalia and Sophia, and our first boy since Jesse, Milo, are wonderful.
People often look at us now when we go walking and ask if they are all ours. We are able to proudly say Yes.

Ellie is now officially a kindergartner, and I think Mommy had a harder time with her first day of school, than did Ellie. She was so excited to begin kindergarten and loved shopping for school supplies, particularly picking out her very own backpack, a Care Bear theme. On the first day, I could tell she was a little nervous and stood kind of close, not exactly wanting John and me to leave right away. After awhile, she adjusted to te new environment, found quite a few other little girls to play with, and was content to finish out the rest of the day on her own. Though, Mommy wasn't quite ready to let go, wondering how her baby girl was already off to kindergarten...it seems only yesterday she was Livvy's age. :-)
Nevertheless, we both got through the first day, and it was wonderful to see her come home from school with a huge smile on her face, and talking on and on about everything that had happened. She's learning so much, and loves to practice all the skills she's being taught; her favorites are definitely reading and writing.
John is content to be at home for the moment, but there are times that it seems he can't wait to join his big sister at school. Our oldest, Kaden, just started "big kids' school." I think Christian and I were more nervous than he was. Since it's his first year, he only goes for half a day. When I went to pick him up in the afternoon, he didn't want to leave. Being naturally social and outgoing, he's already made a number of friends. Kaden can't wait to go back tomorrow.
The twins, Charlie and Finn, were jealous that their big brother is starting school. They wanted to go as well and cried when their dad dropped off Kaden at kindergarten. Luckily, they seem to have already gotten over their disappointment and are perfectly happy with staying at home with Mommy and playing with their new baby brother, Deacon. Yes, we've had another boy. Deacon was a bit of a surprise to us, since we weren't planning on having another child until the twins were a little older, but he's a welcome and wonderful surprise nonetheless.

Rosalie started her first day of school last week, she's only going in the mornings though, so she's was definetly excited about that (at first), but after her first day she found out that most of the kids from her preschool were going there too and that it was "SOOO much fun" and wished she could be there all day!

We told her she would be fine and make lots of friends. Thankfully our next door neighbours little girl, who is Michelle's best friend, was also starting and in Michelle class. I was a complete mess. I hated letting my little girl go, I can't believe she is starting school. It seems like only yesterday I gave birth to her. She came home happy but told us she doesn't want to go back because she missed her siblings too much. Tomoorow might be hard to get her back. We will just have to wait and see how things go tomorrow. When he came home that same day, he was so excited to tell me about his first day- how he learned how to write his name and say the alphabet and everything. He couldn't wait for the rest of the school year. Mike and I were both extremely happy that Patrick loved school so much.
Evan is 3 now and has started preschool. He's quieter than Patrick, but all the same he's a handful. He also really likes school and, from what I know, he's had no trouble making friends.

In a matter of minutes we would soon go from being the parents of two rambunctious boys, to three rambunctious boys and two little girls. However, we were overwhelmed with excitement. When we told Patrick that he would be getting three new brothers or sisters, he, again, couldn't wait. He was a huge help when Evan was born and he's been a huge help with Annie, Lily, and Sander. Evan didn't completely understand the concept of being a big brother at first, but once we explained it, he couldn't have been happier. When Anna Madison, Lily Cassandra, and Jeffrey Alexander finally came into the world, our lives were immediately turned upside down. None of the babies sleep through the night- Sander especially. Sander keeps the entire family up all night and sleeps through the day. Annie and Lily have adapted his sleeping pattern from him waking them up every night as well. But we couldn't love the triplets more. Patrick and Evan are huge helps. They both help feed the babies, play with them, and love holding them with our help. But both Patrick and Evan refuse to change diapers.

Simon started school yesterday! Being only a half vampire (Edward still hasn't turned me yet. Alice said that he's gonna talk to me about it tomorrow, but she refused to tell me what he's gonna say). But as I was saying, Simon is only a half vampire. That means that he only ages at half the rate as normal humans, physically. So he still has the body of a 2.5 year old. Luckily he's big for his "age" so he could pass as a kid who just turned 4. When we were giving him lnch he asked if he was getting any "meat" in in (as in uncooked, fresh from the animal meat. We are "vegitarian" vampires after all [meaning Edward and the kids don't drink from humans, only from animals]). I told him that he was getting pb&j, just like all the other kids. He was excited about school before that though. When I picked him up that afternoon he was crying. Apparently the school playground is around a mile away, and since Simon can run really quickly-- not as fast as Edward or anything, but waaaaay faster than me-- he told his new little friends he was going to go get some of his meat. They didn't care until he got back a couple minutes later with a dead rabbit in his mouth. The teacher tried to call me but stupid me left my cell phone off. I'm going to have to explain to Simon the matters of life and undeath... *sigh*...

Ashton was a bit hesitant to start school, but when we got there, he was excited to see all the toys (too bad he'd have to wait until playtime for that) and also that our neighbor's son, Nate, was there. Since they'd been friends for over a year now, he felt much more at ease.
Avril and Amelie were both thrilled by the idea of a new sibling when we told them. However, once the babies arrived, they were a bit disappointed-- I guess they thought they'd be more fun. Now that Ashton's in school, he loves coming home and trying to teach Avril and Amelie the things he learned that day. :D
