[Opinions] Samantha or Kelsi?
Which one would be a good fn for Cyndra?

Kelsi sounds better with Cyndra, but I dislike the spelling. I much prefer Kelsey. Even Kelsie and Kelsea look better than Kelsi.

Samantha. Kelsi is too flimsy / kyootsee for me to take seriously. It might make a nice nn, but not a name in its own right. It's especially important when you are using one unusual / made-up name to pair it with something more conventional. I'm all for unusual names, but they have to have history behind them or else they sound like a random bunch of sounds someone threw together. For example, Caeli means "of heaven" in Latin and it is also an Irish dance. It is pronounced, "KAY-lee." Caeli Samantha sounds great together, no? And when asked about her unusual name, your dd will have an answer for them other than, "I don't know. My parents just liked the sound of it." Or Kiri. Kiri Cyndra? Kateri Cyndra? Something with some character to it.

This morning, I don't like the repeated S sounds in either combo. They aren't balanced in such a way that appeals to me. So if I have to choose between the two, I'm choosing on the merits of the names, and Samantha is far superior to Kelsi.Samantha Cyndra it is.Array

Would Cyndra be the mn?
I would opt for Samantha, it will age better than Kelsi which is cutesy and already becoming dated.
