I adore Adelaide- it's my second favourite girls name :)
Adelaide Sophia is a lovely combo. My current combo is Adelaide Laurel Aviva, but thats subject to change at any moment ;) Other ideas:
Adelaide Catherine
Adelaide Lucy
Adelaide Nora
Adelaide Lilac
Adelaide Hazel
Adelaide Carys
Adelaide Samara
Adelaide Lillian
Adelaide Jemima
I think Adelle is fine as a nn- I'd prefer Della, Addie, or Laidey though, and plan to use all 3 if I ever get to have an Adelaide, with Della being the main nn.
Sounds fine with William.
