I don't usually like word names, but this one sounds nice and I wouldn't mind it. I like Sonnets too. :)

I'm reading Shakespeare's right now
As a name, it does nothing for me, though. It's not even my favorite form of poetry, though if it were, I could probably more readily support it as a name. If it were the parent's favorite form of poetic expression, again, I could then support it more easily. But as a "pretty" sounding name plucked from the air it is flighty and sounds like it's trying too hard to be cool.

it sounds nice, but i'm honestly not too crazy about it. a sonnet is the name of a type of poem, so it's kind of like using Ballad or Haiku or Limerick for a name. but i'm not going to lie, it does sound quite pretty.
