Ok, my Grandfather claims that he named my mother after his nanny's daughter (he really trusted her and saw her as a mother figure); her daughter's name was Lecir. Yet I have searched up and down and haven't found the meaning of this name. There are other people named Lecir (check google), so it probably isn't a personal invention, but might have an older history. My grandfather is an Italian descendent (1st generation Italian born in Brazil). Thanks.
