[Opinions] Gabby and Abby
I have two little cousins about two and three years old. Their first names are Gabriella and Abigail, nn Gabby and Abby. What do you think? Too rhymey? Since I know the girls personally I'm a bit biased as to what I think. Opinions?

If they are sisters, which I am assuming they are, the nns are way too close for my taste. I do like Gabrielle nn Gabby, and the nn Abby, but certainly not for sisters.
I work with two girls named Gabrielle and Abigail (Gabby and Abby), and it can get fairly confusing! We once had a customer storm into the shop, complaining about the terrible service he had received from Gabby the day before, at which point Gabby appeared from the other end of the shop and swore that she had never seen him before in her life, let alone served him the day before. After talking to him for a while, it became obvious he meant Abby (who looks nothing like Gabby), but he refused to admit his mistake, and kept insisting that he'd been served by Gabby!
I hate the nn Gabby for Gabriella/e (which is why I'd only ever use it as a mn) I also can't stand Abigail "Abby" I think they're far too rhymey.
The names and nns individually are sweet, but together its way too cutesy and matchy.
