[Opinions] Re: A few more Irish names
in reply to a message by Niamh T
Donagh - it's okay
Cillian - also okay, but reminds me of the beer
Ronan - I kind of like it
Ciaran - I like this one the most
Donnacha - don't really like the sound of it, but I'd spell it Donnacadh
Daragh - like it. I like it spelled Darragh better.
Roisin - like it
Brianna - dislike it. It sounds okay, but it's way too popular
Meabh - like it
Aideen - don't really like it
Aisling - don't like it, reminds me too much of Ashley, which reminds me of snobby girls
Aoifa - it's okay, but I'd spell it Aoife
The Irish names I like the most are:
Ciaran
Connor
Diarmaid
Eimhin
Fionn
Malachy / Maeleachlainn - Malachy's better because it's not so long
Padraig
Ruaidhri
Ailbhe
Caitlin
Eibhlin
Grainne
Mallaidh
Mairead
Saoirse
Saraid - love this one
