Kamala (kah-MAHL-uh)
Ramya (Rah-MIE-uh)

Neerav (NEE-rav)I like Amala, Ramya, Amrita, Krishna, and Rohan. I like this sound of Mohini if that is correct.I'm not sure if it is Indian; BtN lists it as Spanish, but the two girls I've known with it are Hindu -- I think Rubina is really, really pretty. I also like Anuja, Parvati, Gita, Indira, Neela/Nila, Padma, Sunita and Sunitha.

Kamala - kah-MAH-lah. It's pleasant, it's kind of boring.
Ramya - RAHM-ya - This is neat.
Jyotsna - whoa, snot. Yots-nah is how I would think to say it, which makes it REALLY like Snot. It looks cool though.
Mohini - mo HEE nee - I love this.
Amala - ah-MAH-lah - more boring than Kamala, but better because it doesn't have a K.
Amrita - am REE tah. Makes me think of amirite, which Janine and I say to each other on the internet with fair frequency. Anyway it's cool.Kiran - Keer-an. Gross and made-up/trendy sounding.
Venkat - VEN-k(schwa)t. I know a Venkat actually, and I didn't like him very much, so I don't like his name.
Anshul - An-shull. An shell. I don't really like it, it sounds cramped.
Krishna - Kreesh-na. Krishna Krishna! This reminds me of George Harrison a lot and is somewhat akin to naming your kid Jesus or Shiloh in my mind. It's cool sounding though.
Rohan - ROE han. This is a neopets character. And it's okay, it sounds really trendy and all, but I like the RO part.
Neerav - Near-ahv. This is really cool.I've always liked Jaswinder. I'm not quite sure how it's pronounced though.eta: i didn't take meanings into account, oops!

Neerav - near-av (the most common spelling in my area is Nirav)My faves are Priya, Lalita, Anisa, Raj, Nirav and Neha. I live in a very South Asian community so I have friends who bear these names, and I think they are lovely :)
