No idea, I like zebras, but not as a name, however I don't see why it can't be used since there are other animlal names used (though having "bra" in your name isn't lovely). I DO like Gazelle though, and other few "animal" names. The only ones I'd ever consider are Fawn, and Fox.

But, have you ever heard of "Zebra" used as a derogatory term for a mixed race child? I have.Plus, I also think Zebras are stupid and obstinate. Sorta like naming your kid Donkey.

Yes, it is sometimes a derrogatory term

No, I never heard that term used as derogatory. I just always think of the animal, which happends to be one of my faves.
