Aleksei Cosmo Rowan came in to our family last week. He has a small patch of light hair and bright green eyes. Leksei is quite small although he was only 2 weeks early. He is, although, completely healthy. The children are less thrilled at his arrival as when we had Sawyer several years ago. Joey was the most upset about this and still has refused to talk with either Chris or me, which has hurt us dearly. Then Damian, being his sister's shaddow, hasn't taken much effort either, although he is not taking as drastic measures. Charlie is alright about it, although she is not at all excited either. Sawyer has no mind about it either way and has not really come to the idea that he is staying.
Joey, now 12, is in 7th grade and has been getting in trouble frequently. Her best friend's still being Ethan and Martin, has lead her to act older and such. Martin and her are going out now, him being 15, we have objections, although she will take none of them. Joey still loves photography, and has pictures filling her walls and overlapping. She works with the school newspaper and yearbook, and also is in the club, and takes a highschool class on it.
Damian, now 10, has finally hit the double didgets. He is still great friends with his sister, even though their personallities are completly different. He is a great student and all his teachers love him. His favorite thing to do is still anything to do with arts, and he is improving all the time. Crystal, his friend from down the block, was put into foster care last year because of an abusive family but we still have them meet and we are planning to take her in so that she can stay here with us, and because we love her and Damian is so sad with out her here, we may adopt her.
Charlie, now 7, is enjoying school so much. She is brilliant in science and math, and is taking several classes in 6th grade for them before returning to 2nd. She has some great friends Taylor, Sami, and Brently. And has taken up intrest in soft-ball like the rest of the family.
Sawyer, now 4, has been in pre-school, although he is frequently missing due to medical conditions. He has severe asthma and has grand-mal seziures that we have to bring him to the hospital alot. Sawyer loves to read though, something easy he can do when he is in the hospital, he also loves to be in the water.
