When you search for meanings......you will get results that have your search terms anywhere in the description. Olive, for example, has the word "love" in its description, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the meaning:Created by Shakespeare for a character in his comedy 'Twelfth Night'. He may have based it on the name OLIVER or on Latin oliva "olive". In the play Olivia is a noblewoman who is wooed by Duke Orsino but instead falls in love with his messenger Cesario.(Bolding mine.)I assume that's where you got the idea that Olivia means "love" and Athena means "wisdom." The meaning search is a great tool, but it's not perfect, so make sure you actually look at the results you get. Don't just assume that whatever you put in the search box is the literal meaning.

Olivia doesn't mean love and Athena doesn't mean wisdom. Kerensa and Olivia are different styles. The "sa-so" in Kerensa Sophia trips up my tongue. Sophia Kerensa is nice though. The "a-a" in Olivia Athena breaks up the flow.

The meanings are totally off.I adore Sophia and Olivia, popularity aside. Kerensa is very pretty, but Kerensa Sophia has too much S. Athena is nice but Olivia Athena doesn't flow very well.

As Eliora pointed out, you've got the meanings wrong.I don't like the combos - Kerensa Sophia runs together, and Olivia Athena clashes.Sophia Kerensa and Olivia Theodora would work better.Kerensa and Athena would be okay as sisters or twins, and so would Olivia and Sophia, but the two sets are so different that they clash when put together. Kerensa and Athena are too unusual-funky, and Olivia and Sophia are too classic-trendy.

Sophia and Olivia fit together, I think, and Kerensa and Athena sound all right, but all together they're a bit awkward imo.

Um...Olivia doesn't mean wisdom, it means elf army. The meaning of Athena is unknown, but it may mean sharp or praise, but definitely not wisdom. Get your meanings right. Kerensa Sophia runs together, Olivia is trendy and already dated, and Athena doesn't match any of the names.

Olivia is listed as possbly coming from oliva which means love, as she said in her original post. Also perhaps she is interpreting sharp in a similar manner to wise as sarp can mean quick-witted or intelligent in some vernacular. I could be wrong, as I don't know exactly what she may be thinking, but that is how I looked at it. ETA that Olivia and Kerensa are nice enough. i love Sophia and Athena is nice. That being said i don't really believe in thinking up special names for twins. I would just use my two favorite names.

Oliva means love? Where does it say that? The only meaning for Oliva in the database is "olive".

Not the only one. It's also listed as a feminine form of Oliver - elf army.

That's Olivia, not Oliva. :-)
