I could go either way on this one because 1) it's a mn not a fn, and 2) I know Jacob is after your DH, so even though I don't care for the name, I like the honoring-ness of it. :b

Jacobbecause I like the sound of it. Elijah always sounded a little whimpy to me.

Jacob. It's popular but I just love it.

Elijah:)

Elijah! It's my fave boys name, strong & handsome. Jacob: nice, but tired.

Jacob...it's one of my favorites. Elijah, on the other hand, has never appealed to me. Jacob has a much nicer sound imo.

I like both but I adore Elijah. It's more interesting and less common. Jacob would be nicer, as a mn. What about Elijah Jacob? I love them together.

I'm using both as Mns, so I love both sorry I can't help you. If I had to I'd choose Elijah, because I can't picture me with a son named that as a his FN.

I normally prefer Elijah as its less common but I really love honouring so I think Jacob's great if you were thinking about honouring your husband. Sorry, I'm not helping much.

Love both of them...I would go with Jacob.

Elijah, just because it's much less common than Jacob.

Elijah by far.Jacob is so so so boring.

It depends on the fn that will be with it. Elijah would be my choice on the whole. I think either one syllable or 3+ syllables are good for mns because many common boys' fns are two syllables and I think the same cadence can get annoying.

I like Jacob & Elijah probably the same but I would have to say I'd pick Elijah over Jacob just b/c Jacob is very popular now. It would really depend on the first name though.

I love Elijah, but Jacob is nice also. Hmm... As a mn, I actually think Jacob is better. It depends on the fn.

Depends on the combo. I like Jacob better overall, but I would reserve judgment till I heard the FN paired with it.
