I have a friend named Naomi. I've always pronounced it nay-OH-mee, but my boyfriend says nye-OH-mee. My friend says that she answers to both. I'm not sure how her parents intended her name to be pronounced, honestly.
I think it's a lovely name, with either pronunciation. It's one of my favorites. :)
