I knew a girl named Arden, so I'll probably always see it as a girl's name. Maybe if I knew a guy named Arden, I'd see it as a guy's name...but the only person I've ever known was named Arden was female. I think it's pretty for a girl, though - now that I think of it - I could see it on a guy.
