I like Elinor best. This spelling just appeals to me more but I think both Elinor and Eleanor are very pretty, traditional and classy sounding. It definitely doesn't remind me of an old fat lady and I don't think someone named Eleanor/Elinor would be teased. Miss-smiley suggested Elena which I think is even prettier and its not as traditional sounding =)
