Reminds me of E. Nesbit and her book The Phoenix and the Castle.
It's a daring name, but it sounds good as well as looks good on the page. I think I'd chicken out and out it in the mn spot though. John Pheonix? Martha Phoenix? Kimberly Phoenix? James Phoenix? It works on boys and girls IMO
