Announcing the birth of Esther Maeve, a beautiful baby girl! She weighed in at 7 lbs, 9 oz, and was 21 and 1/2 inches. Not the biggest baby ever, but nothing to sneeze at, either! Esther was chosen for its biblical roots, and Maeve was chosen not only for flow but also to reflect the family's Irish background. Esther has big blue eyes like her daddy, but she doesn't quite have enough hair yet for us to tell who she resembles in that respect.
We picked up a beta fish from a pet store not long after Esther was born. He's very pretty - blue and purple, mostly - and his name is Frax. I hadn't been planning on getting a beta, but I couldn't say no, the way the little guy was looking at me with his big eyes.
