My family lives on a large bush property in the south-west of Western Australia. The house is specially constructed, with enough bedrooms that the kids are only sharing two to a room. There's heaps of space to play outside and the kids spend most of their playtime making cubbies or playing sports together. Everyone from Jeannie down to Annie goes to the local primary school (years 7, 5, 4, 4, 1 and Pre-school) and Evey, Keali and Lewis will go there in the future. Daniel travels an hour each day to a private Grammar school which is where the rest of the kids will go when they hit high school.Daniel is a sensible, responsible boy who does well at school and is on the town's under-16s footy team.Jeannie is a bright, vivacious girl who is on the Student Council at school and loves to talk.Skigh is a wistful but intelligent boy who spends much of his time thinking and reading.Faith is a quirky, sweet girl with an odd sense of humour and a talent for ballet.Quan is a quick-minded, talkative boy who is always surprising the family with clever quips.Rowan is a quiet, serene boy with an uncanny knack for beating everyone at chess.Annie is a loud, boisterous girl who always has something to say and likes to have things her way.Evey is a bubbly, sweet girl whose chief interest in life is flowers of all sorts.Keali is a withdrawn girl with a sad smile but a growing interest in and tenderness for the family cat.Lewis is a newborn and doesn't do much except babble and wave his arms yet.. . . and that's my make-believe Family of Ten :-)
