Brennus and Boudicca are 6 year old twins from ancient Ireland. Rugged and dirty, we think their parents were killed in tribal wars. Almost identical in looks-they both have straggly straight brown hair and piercing blue eyes. They rarely speak and when they do, its a strange secret language only the two of them speak.
Makeda is a 13 year old Ethiopian prince we rescued from a slaver ship. He is very proud and bold, but we see definate leadership skills. With a little love and lots of attention, he should be a great asset to your family.
Irene Pearl and Agnes Rosalie are 10 and 12 year old sisters born in the 20's era. Their parents were part of a big political machine and were gruesomely murdered during an attack from a rival mob. With short, straight, bobbed blonde hair-these girls are used to living rich. They have no work ethic and very little respect for adults of any kind. Both are extremely spoiled and will complain when they don't get their own way. We think living in a big family will give them a good wake up call.
River Elias is a 4 year old son of a young hippie mother. She was unsure of who the father is and didn't want the responsibility of raising a child in her carefree life. He is very sweet and shy, and loves to be held. He is sure to bring a smile to anyones face with his sweet ways.

Brennus and Boudicca are doing surprisingly well for coming from ancient Ireland. We believe that they were speaking ancient Gaelic. They are catching on to English pretty quickly. Brennus is a natural hunter, and is often angered by our lack of game. Boudicca is old beyond her years, and is wise in the ways of the home. Both are doing good, but there are so many new concepts to grasp, we think it will take a while for them to be fully adjusted!
Makeda is also doing well. He is a natural born leader-- and is very intelligent. He is at the top of his class in school. He has started and lead a club for the boys in our neighborhood and he is making lots of friends!
Irene and Agnes... oh boy. Yes they were spoiled, yes they complained, but their disrespect was intolorable. We have already had them grounded for a month! They seem to be adapting ok, but it's just hard to tell. I think the biggest problem they've had was the concept of "allowance". They get a couple dollars a week, but it's just not what their used to!
River is adorable! He has probably adapted the best. He is so sweet! Everyone loves him and Irene and Agnes dote on him constantly. We have bought him a hamster that he named Rainbow.
