Both are better as middle names. Generally, I like
Rae
as a nn for
Rachel
, but at times, I like it by itself for a mn. I like spellings
Rae
and
Mae
only.
Rae
sounds more fun and pretty to me, whereas
Mae
is more sweet and classic.
