Gabe grew up, as a Lutheran, with his dad because his parents divorced when he was 6. He has 2 older brothers. Gabe has dark brown hair and gray eyes. He is quite tall being 6'2" and has a nice build. He works at a nuclear plant, which is very dangerous, but he enjoys his work. He has no disabilities.

Genna lived with her mother after the death of her father when she was 8. She has an identical twin sister, 2 younger brothers, 1 younger sister, and 4 older sisters. She is 5'7", slim, and has dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. She has been staying at home since she adopted her 6 youngest children, but before then, she worked at a daycare. She and Gabe can't have children so they've been adopting for many years.

She had leg braces as a child to correct her walking stature but is in great health now.

Allegra and Celia were adopted from Italy when they were 6 and as a result speak both fluent English and their native Italian. They just completed the 7th grade. Allegra is a straight A student and school is very important to her. She is a selective mute and is often harsh on herself due to teasing of other kids. She sees a therapist once a week but refuses to talk to her. Celia is the polar opposite. She hates school and barely passes year to year. She is quite talkative and loves hanging out with her friends. She is always there for Allegra and often stands up for her. Celia and Addie are the only people Allegra will talk to. The girls are identical: wavy light brown hair and ocean blue eyes.

Andy was adopted when he was 2 weeks old. He loves to play golf, swim, and do anything outdoors. He is also deaf. He has strawberry blonde hair and blue-gray eyes.

Addie is very fussy and never wants to sleep. She also has just started running and can tell us exactly what and who she wants. She loves be fawned over by Allegra. She has dark brown hair and dark brown eyes.

Ani's mother was a druggy and it seems she has suffered the consequences. She seems to have trouble hearing and she was born with a serious heart disease. Ani's first few years of life will consist of risky sugeries and many hospital visits. The family doctor says she needs a heart transplant and without one, she won't live to see her 3rd birthday. She has blonde hair and gray eyes.

Katie is still a very bald baby girl with green-blue eyes. The doctor says she is in perfect health.
