I kind of like Summer. It has pleasant connotations and sounds nice. It makes me think of a sweet girl.
I don't like July very much. It sounds . . . corporate? Well, that's not a very good description of what I mean. Let's see-- even though the month of July has good connotations, the sound of the word isn't pleasant. It's more harsh. I'd much rather it be "Julie" than "July" to make it softer.
I hope that makes some kind of sense.
