Can you tell me the meaning of the name Leuretha?

This looks like a job for our Greek resident, PriaposLovs, but I'll take a swing at it and he can make any necessary corrections later. :)"Leuretha" may mean "Brightest and Best". I say that, because "Leukos" is a Greek combining form meaning "white, bright", and "Aretha" or "Retha" is a Greek name being "The Best".Anyone else here have any other theories on this name (which appears to be a modern invention)?-- Nanaea

I've never encountered the name Leuretha in Hellenic literature. I find Nan's approach very elegant, and the only other speculation I could throw to the table is that Leuretha may also be a form of the Eleutheria, neaning "liberty".

In the TV show "King of the Hill", isn't Hank Hill supposed to suffer from a narrowed Leuretha? Peggy claims that's why Bobby's an only child.Oh course, I've heard this all second-hand. Like the rest of you, I only watch C-Span, Louis Rukeyser, and The McNeil Hour. :)
