[Opinions] Nickname for Alexandra...etc.
Is Andy a good nn for a girl named Alexandria, Alexandra, Alexandrina, etc. I am not so much looking to find if you like the name Andy, but if it could work as a nn for those names without looking too far off.

Yes, I think it could work. Nicknames are very flexible.

Andy sounds much to masculine for a NN for Alexandra. I like the NN Lexie. I also like the names Alexia and Alexis. Thanks

I think it's ok. A wee bit of a stretch, but not bad.

Sorry. I like Andy for a girl but I don't see it as a nn for Alexandra, Alexandria, Alexandrina.

Hmm, I dont think I would think of Andy as a nn for those names. The one that came to my mind was Ali.

No. Andy in my opinion is for a boy, and I don't think it works for Alex names.

Sure. Why not? I can also see Andy / Andi as a nn for Cassandra, Leandra, Andrea, Miranda, Amanda. Not that you asked, but my favorite nn for Alexandra is Sunny.

I think that Andy is a cute nickname for those names, and could definitely work.

My godcousin (is that what you call a child of your godparents? lol) is named Adriana and goes by the nn Andy... so I think of all female Andys as being either an Adriana or an Adrienne.Though, all the names you listed as possibly full names for the nn Andy could work just fine because they have the "and" in them. So, yes, to answer your question. lol
