Congrats!Congrats Matthew, Ashley and Marissa! You have been blessed with...Asunción Valencia is a beautiful three year old girl from Mexico. Her name can be changed (as long as she approves of what it's changed to). Her mother simply abandoned her, and she has been living in various foster homes since then. She really loves to be outdoors and loves animals. She has a hamster named Reina, that she takes everywhere. It even sits in her pocket!Helen Alexis and Laryn Brittney are twin nine year old girls from England. They are identical, each having beautiful blue-green eyes and strawberry-blond hair. Helen is a very delicate creature, and she is very proper. She would rather spend her afternoons sipping tea and doing tiny embroidery than anything else. Laryn is her polar opposite, she is a thrill seeker. She will ride any rollercoaster and do any stunt she is dared to do. Already she has broken an arm in an attempt to climb to the top of a tree after being dared. Please keep us updated on how Asunción, Helen and Laryn are doing!

Update, Can I apply again?Asun (Ah-soon)and Reina have added laughter into our family. She is so perky and cheerful, everyone just loves her. She doesn't like going on trips because it reminds her of all the times she has had to move, so we haven't taken any overnight trips lately. Maybe someday she will see that these trips really are only temporary. Her favorite place to visit is the petting zoo where she gets to pet and hold the chickens and rabbits.Helen and Laryn were quite obstinate when they first arrived. They wouldn't talk to Marissa and would always be alone. So, as a family, we began volunteering at the childrens hospital; Asun brings Reina, Marissa paints with the kids, Laryn tells stories and Helen teaches embroidery. It seems to have brought the girls out of there hard shells and softened them up a bit. Helen has set up some tea parties for all the girls and Laryn is teaching Asun to climb trees (under Matt's watchful eyes of course).Thank you so much for our kids! We would love the same rules to apply, but is there any way we could possibly get two boys? Matt is feeling a little outnumbered...
