Well, my mom's name is Sheryl & she had a good friend named Cheryl. :o) Both were blonde, but mom is a sweetie while Cheryl was more edgy. Both loved their husbands, but when it came down to it, my mom put up with a bunch of crap until she figured out how to get my dad to change his ways, while Cheryl decided that divorce was the best way to go. B/c of this, I associate the name Cheryl with someone who is nice to a point & then takes matters into her own hands, while I associate Sheryl with someone who is softer, sweeter, and more timid.
