[Opinions] Lew (pronounced "loo") as a nickname for Lauren?
Does it work? COULD it work?
The character in my story is Lauren Addison, a fairly plain brunette from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, born in 1960 and growing up in the 1970s, who plays the guitar (acoustic) and sings. Oh yeah, and she's a HUGE Maple Leafs fan. Personally, I think the name gives her a "cute," playful, feminine touch, and for the better.
Your thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Well I'm in England and I sometimes get called Lou as a nn. No one's ever called me 'toilet' instead!
