Well we suprised to find out we were 5 months pregnant with Logan Caleb Dakota and two months later our baby boy was born. With out execting him we have fallen in love with our big brown-eyed baby boy, with a soft fuzz of brown hair... which was such a big contrast to the rest of our lighter color of hair and eyes. Chris was so shocked by the darker tones of Logan that he even accused me of cheating, which for awhile we weren't sleeping in the same room and weren't talking, untill he finally gave into me telling him that I hadn't. Since then our relationship has become rocky.
The kids are wearly of the baby and don't really know what to think of him and then hearing Daddy and Mommy arguing has frightened them. And The three older ones are blaming Logan for this, well Nessie is still curious but careful of the new baby. And Xander has even come to believe that Logan is an alien from outer space... and has been telling everyone this that he meets or comments of Logan when we're out.
Dani is now in 2nd grade, after bumping her up in kindergarten after our meeting with the principle, and is excelling in her classes. She no longer complains frequently but does perfect on all her homework and tests and is taking 4rd grade math. We are astonded by her brilliance. Dani is still in dance and gymnastics and has even started girl scouts this year with Jules from down the street. Then she is also taking piano lessons from my mother and she is doing quite well and is excellent with her right hand, her left hand needs more work though. Then she and her group of friends, Matty, Jules, and Max are still great friends, and now that a new girl who is 7-years-old moved in across the street, Ellie has joined the group as well. Then Ginger is still tagging along with Dani where ever they go, and often sneaks in her room to sleep with her at night.
Then Xander and Zach are in kindergarten due to their birthday in Novemeber and believing that like thier sister, they will excell in their classes as well, which they are. Xander is a loud mouth though in his class, with the same teacher as Dani had had and is also in a class with their friend Casey who combined are known for trouble. Then Casey's twin sister Jacey is in a class with Zach, which both are more serene... or combined... sneaky. Zach absolutly loves school and his new teacher Mrs. Ludger and she adores Zach as well. Then the boys started Tee-Ball this year, Chris being the teams coach... which is interesting to see how he coaches the little kids as opposed to his high-school team he coaches!
And now our baby Vanessa is nearly one and is walking all over. She is even talking and becoming more and more active. She loves being on the ground and gets fussy when she is picked up or placed in her crib and we are starting to get her temper tantrums.
