This is my son: James Vincent, nn Jamie.
You Say: What a strong, handsome name!
You Think: James is popular, Vincent not my style, and Jamie too cutesy and 1980's but it's certainly nice to see Jamie on a boy for once!
This is my son: Gilbert Blythe, nn Gil.
You Say: Oh, like Anne of Green Gables? That's a cute name!
You Think: It really is cute though perhaps a bit excessively heroic, but I don't have too much against that I myself like the names Darcy, Willoughby, and Tilney! :)
This is my daugther: Claire Antoinette.
You Say: Claire is so cute!
You Think: Though the sound of the combo is a bit too much like Marie Antoinette but I love Claire, it's actually very cute!
