[Opinions] Re: online BAs of the past week (Switzerland)
in reply to a message by Lea
I like:
Alina Suzanne - Not too keen on Alice, but it's not bad. Suzanne is lovely.
Emilia Inés - Inés is growing on me at the moment, Emilia is better than Emily but still not very exciting.
Jasmin Christa - Jasmine Christina would have been better.
Noelia Chiara - Very pretty!
Rebekka Leonie - My favourite of the bunch, though I would prefer Rebecca to Rebekka.
Leni Mathilda Luise - Very nice, my second favourite.
Saskia - Like it.Others:
Anne-Marcelle - Don't like Marcelle.
Bigna Ladina - Don't recognise either of these names. BEE-nya la-DEE-na? It sounds okay that way, but I don't know if that's right.
Cécile-Géraldine - Cécile is pretty, but Geraldine sounds very dated in English.
Chiara Ayleen Vanessa Desiréé - Wow, very mixed! I love Chiara and Ayleen is nice enough. Vanessa isn't a favourite and Desiréé is horrible.
Cosima Bonita - The Bonita seems a bit ridiculous as part of an actual name. Cosima isn't bad though, better than Cosimo.
Dana Zoé - Dislike Dana but Zoé is fine.
Fabienne Lea - Dislike both names. I like Fabian, but not Fabienne.
Leana Joline - Both names look a bit contrived to me.
Malaika Thalita - Both weird names. Malaika I can deal with, but not Thalita.
Mara Nina - Too rhymey, and neither name really appeals.
Moana (Mo-AHN-ah) - Even if it's not pronounced like "moan", it still looks like it.
Pierina Nova - Both names are horrible.
Salome Jaira - I say SAL-o-may, but I expect that's wrong. Jaira is a new one on me.
Simea Rahel - Another weird one. Do you know anything about Simea? Pronunciation?
Sophia Aurora
Desirée - Horrible.
Soraya Deborah - Love Soraya, but Deborah is very dated.Of the boys, my favourites are Noel Patrick, Samuel Kurt Anton and Philipp Dominic.
I like the twinset Hanna and Lilli, but would prefer Lillian or Lily to Lilli.

pronunciation :)Simea Rahel - Si-MAY-ah RAH-hel. I don't know anything about the meaning or origin of Simea, but it could be a variation of Simeon. Just a guess though.Bigna Ladina - BIN-yah lah-DEE-nah. same as above, I don't know anything about the names. I've heard them both before but they are quite unusual.Salome - SAH-lo-may
