[Opinions] Re: Random BA's
in reply to a message by Sabrina Fair
I'm only going to do the girl's names. By the way, where do you find these? I'd really like to know!
FEMALES
Anabigail Saphire - Anna+Abigail=Anabigail? Very interesting. I would never use it, but I kinda like it! Saphire is beautiful and it's on my faves list.
Aquarial Xaniyah- sound like aquarium to me. Maybe that was the point? I have a friend who wants to name her kids Aqua and Chlorine! (Seriously) Xaniyah is very intersesting, though I would never use it.
Arcadia Michelle- I like Arcadia. It's exotic and not overused in my opinion. Michelle is a bit dated to me, but I've always loved the name anyway.
Aria Savannah- Beautiful combo. Aria is lovely and very feminine without being too frilly. Savannah is nice but too popular in my opinion.
Arowen Olivia- A variation of Arwen I'm guessing? Though there are times in the LotR movies her name is pronounced Ar-o-wen, I think I would stick to the original spelling. Olivia is ok.
Athena Beatriz- I like Athena, but wouldn't burden a little girl with it. It sounds like a very "heavy" name to me. Beatriz is nmsaa.
Aubriegh Andrea- I actually like this spelling of Aubrey... ok not as much as I thought. Andrea is beautiful, another not-too-boyish-or-girly names.
Avalon Armeta- Avalon is a wonderful and beautiful name. I've never heard of Armeta. I don't care for names where the first and middle names start with the same letter.
Azaria Natalia- Very nice. Azaria is wonderful and exotic. Natalia the same, but in it's own way. To me Azaria sounds like a princess off of Star Wars... Hmmmm... *jots name down for a story*
Boston Marie - ewwww. Boston? for a girl? I wouldn't use this name on a boy, much less a girl. Marie is nice but overused.
Carizma Atheena- eww, I really hate this combo. Athena wouldn't have been too bad if they had kept the original spelling.
Chambray Lynn- I don't like either one. Lynn is dated and plain, while Chambray sounds made up.
Diamond Ann- I don't care for Diamond. I like Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, you name it. But Diamond? It seems a little much for a girl to live up to. Ann is nice, but I prefer Anne.
Derynn Seneca - eww. Seneca is a brand of apple juice and Derynn, even spelled that way, is, and, in my opinion, always will be a boy's name.
Edyn- Please keep the original spelling people! Eden would get pronounced correctly, Edyn will get pronounced like ED-in instead of EE-den!
Heaven Allina- Not as bad as Nevaeh. You have to admit that. Allina is better spelled Elina if it needs to be used at all.
I'Dymond Aniyah- ewww, ewww, ewww, yuck, etc.
Iris x 3- Iris is kinda cute, needs a middle name though!
Isis- ok, poor kid needs a middle name!
Isis Kay - ok
Janie- Janie is alright, I've never really liked it though. too nick-namey for me.
Janie Kayleen - see above for Janie. Kayleen is a nick alternitive to Kathleen...Maybe...
Jowel Kahleia Mailyn - this whole name sounds made up! Jowel.. Is it pronounced like Jewel or Joel? Kahleia is a combo between Kay and Leia? Mailyn.. A variation of May-Lynn or Maelynn maybe?
Lilith Dawn Capella- Lilith is a lovely name, but I would never use it! Dawn is dated to me, and Capella... Capella is nice.
London- I really dislike London...
London Erin- ...and Erin
Myami Barbara-Lynn - Myami is bad enough spelled Miami. Myami is just too much. Barbara-Lynn is VERY dated sounding, IMO
Nancy - I dislike Nancy to begin with... The child needs a middle name!
Paris A'niya- Paris is not a good name in my opinion. A'niya would have been MUCH better spelled Anya. You can mess up a perfectly good name spelling it with a '.
Rainee Kathryn- Rainy Kathrine?
Raynee- ewwwww
Rhetlynn Irene - Rhetlynn is an awful name. Irene is better, but still pretty bad.
River Blake - sounds like a boy's name
Sable- Sable isn't very good in my opinion
Sahara- beautiful, simply beautiful. Sounds exotic and warm. It's on my faves list.
Saige- Spell it Sage and I like it
Sequoia Aryanna- Oh my.. BEAUTIFUL combo! Sequoia is in my top ten and Aryanna (spelled Arianna) is a wonderful name!
Sonora Danika-James - Sonora is lovely, again, on my list. Danika is great, I actually like it better than Danica. If James is the mother's maiden name then it's ok, otherwise it's awful.
Star Marie - Star is lovely, and paired with Marie it makes a great combo.
Syrie Elizabeth- I would like it if it was spelled Siri. However, Syrie is nice in it's own right. Elizabeth is a bit old fashioned for my tastes.
Teige Kaitlyn - Teige.. How is that pronounced? Is it TAYJ or TEEJ or TEEGE or TAYGE? Kaitlyn is SO overused!
