Hi, I'm Neela, a soul singer from Boston. I just released my first album entitled "Soulovely" and I'm still stunned how it hit the scene! My parents are both musicians (my mum's a violoncellist, my dad was a jazz pianist - he died some years ago, I still miss him so much...), so I grew up with a lot of music around - I didn't have quite a chance to become something else but a singer! ;-)
Two years ago I met Raphael, who's a friend of Matt, the drummer in my band, after one of my shows. He's a movie actor who had a major success last year with an independent film that surprisingly won the Cannes Film Festival. We fell in love immediately and married last year, shortly after I turned 21.
Raphael started his career on stage, he attendet The Juilliard School and worked with different companies afterwards.
